AB was amazing but Canty and Newman were better players. Having a guy who could shut down the BigXII's best WRs would be awesome right now.

I enjoyed AB very much so. So much in fact, that I've almost forgot how many times he overshot gaps and misread a blocking scheme. His freak athleticism helped him overcome a lot of his mistakes.

Siminou was better in almost every facet. Newman, Canty, Jeremetrious, McGraw, Chapman, Howard, Colston....all as good and meant as much to a D.

It's hard to say. I mean Brown is right up there.

People wouldn't even throw at Newman, though. Carson Palmer was afraid of him. He took away half of the field.

An elite MLB is great, though. Very impactful.

I would probably take Howard strictly for D, a, guy that requires a double team on all pasing downs is huge in today's Big 12 but Newman or Canty scoring TDs in the return game make it tough.

Simineuou, Brown, and Newman are in class of their own. (All three defensive player of year in Big 12.). Ranking them is hard. I think Simineuo made more plays but opposing teams might have schemed around Brown and Newman more.

Look at the DL/LB/DBs that TN played with then do the same for AB.
