CORAL GABLES – If you listened between the lines Tuesday, Hurricanes AD Shawn Eichorst all but said Kansas State’s Frank Martin has no chance of being hired as his men’s basketball coach.

Eichorst described his coach-to-be as “a fundamentally sound person who is positive and treats young people with the utmost respect” and later added, “I want our kids to be treated in a very respectful and loving manner. I want a positive person. I don’t like negative people.”

Martin, who this past season hit guard Chris Merriewether on the arm with the back of his hand and then apologized after the game, doesn’t exactly exude loving and positive. 

He’s more like the drill sergeant from the GEICO commercials.

And so we move on…..

Sounds like Miami is after a SLTH

All for our hot headed, angry coach staying as long as he starts recruiting better.

Running around scraping the bottom of the barrel for a warm body from the Juco Ranks to fill the ride(s) of guys the hot headed angry coach has run off is not by definition recruiting better.

Now the legit fear is that hot headed angry coach and his trusty side kick Te450K are our swinging for the fences again, which is fine, as long as there is legit plan B and C's as well . . . and legit plan B's and C's are not Canadian Juco guards and Te Irving types.
