That would make no sense. I'm seeing Hurley, Oats, Donovan, Drew.
Personally, I don't know why Bill would want to make a move at his age but I would imagine Kentucky will need to cast a wide net.
Bill is beloved in Lawrence. Cal was despised in Lexington. Bill gets close to $10MM/year already at KU. They'll build a statue of him next to Phog Allen. Probably will name something after him, although it will be hard to supplant Allen or Naismith. He's got security, adoration, and legacy already--all things that are not conducive to the Kentucky job. They eat their own, there. I think he'll also retire soon-ish. He's already said he doesn't want to be one of those coaches who does the job until they die. He wants to enjoy retirement, and given recent health concerns, I could see his timeline towards that accelerating.
