Not nearly as bad as they could turn out. That would actually only be a mild disappointment in comparison if they did something like what they did with Oregon. I really just don't want them to dick with the helmet and I want the powercat on there. Also, I would rather our football unis not be black.

No way the uniforms should be blacked out.  Atleast not on a permenent basis, maybe for a promotional type thing-  "Black out The Bill" = "Black out Bramlage"  I could definitely see them spice up the design while retaining the purple and silver, though.  But we gotta keep the helmets the same.

A few notes:

Yes the photo was photoshopped (is that a word). It's El Roberson in the pic. Duh. The original photo was taken OCt 05. Let's just say this is an illustration based upon a witness description.

The info I've got is that a black shirt could very well be in the mix and the pants will be different as shown.

Keep in mind that the styles are under development.

Not sayin I love em I'm just sayin.

FYI...
Stripes on sleeves are gone replaced by Powercat logo..
Stripes on pants are swoosh like rather than the true stripes..
A third jersey was ordered....they really rock...Aledgedly they are metallic silver with black and purple trimmings.

Helmet....white stripes are now black.....

No. But that sounds pretty close. My source says purple & black dagger (or "claw") like stripe on pants and stripe on sleeves probably gone. The helmet description doesn't fit. Silver jersey? Haven't heard that. Sounds like a roller derby uniform to me.

If you haven't noticed, black IS the new color for KSU athletics.

not even close....no changes to the pants or helmets just the tops, less stripes no added powercats, k-state sewed on the front. tackle twill instead of print. no apperance at the spring game either.....

alot of schools have there name on the front but it is real small right at the tip of the v-neck you can really only see it on a close up

I would almost like a smaller front # and maybe an initial logo or university name on the front somewhere.  It just looks like a plain black jersey.  It's almost exactly the same, but black and they threw powercat on the sleeve.
