They're about as bad as the royals in comparison to their division/league/whatever, so don't get your hopes up.  But the games are FUN.

Went to two of them last year.  Remember the guy that used to work for the Royals and screamed "LEEEEMONADE LEMONADE LEMONAAAAADE!" ?

Yeah, he works there now.

They also had nacho night, where the nachos were free.  They were loaded nachos too.  It was weird though, they basically laid out a row of tables full of nachos and lots of plates and people would just go dig in with spatulas.  Still good, especially for being free.

It's a fun and cheap night out.  It's easier for me to go to because it's not as far away as Kauffman and the parking struggle isn't nearly as bad.  Saves me money too.

T-Bones will give fans their fill

First it was the $1 hot dogs all season. Now the T-Bones have unveiled an all-you-can-eat plan.

The T-Bones will offer club seating this season at CommunityAmerica Ballpark.

Fans buying a club-seat ticket will receive all-you-can eat and drink privileges for selected concession items. And, yes, beer is among the unlimited items — sort of.

The drink choices include unlimited Coke products and up to six beers per ticket.

The available food items are hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, barbecue grilled chicken, french fries, corn on the cob, baked potatoes and cookies.

The club seats, which are located down the first-base line in the picnic area, cost $50 per game.

Tickets are on sale now for groups of 25 or more. Single-game tickets are available April 14.

Don't mock it until you try it.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

Seriously, I do.  You can get hammered before the game and it's basically free.

When I lived DT, I'd walk to the Marriott to catch the bus.  I haven't done it since I moved.  (Had parking passes for all the games I went to).

Cool.  I've done it - taken the Plaza Express, it's great because the same reasons you mentioned above.
Bad part is that it's really not much of an express.

I went to the all star throwback game last summer with free tix, it is expensive to drink out there.  The best deal we found were big Corona bottles for like 5 or 6 bucks.  not a bad seat in the house though, the only thing that redeemed the experience was that we also got free tix to the VIP(free food, crab legs, oysters, and ribs, and free top shelf booze) tent after the game, totally felt like wedding crashers there, got a great pic with buck o'neil who was cool as crap.  George Brett was a giant douchebag of massive preportions.

Overall, I had always heard how cheap the tbones games were when they first came out but the prices for things have jumped up to match all the other crap out there.

That's weird.  I bought a draw for $3(decent sized cup too), and was able to get it refilled for $2.  I haven't been in about two years though.

It's not bad going there...leaving the stadium can be ridiculous, though.

They definately did not have that when I went last summer but like I said, it was an all star game with the likes of buck o'neil and george brett.  They might just as easily have bumped everything.

When I went to a regular game last summer I was disappointed that the food and beer was the same price as Royals' games.  I'd rather get a Hy-Vee seat at the Royals and see at least one major league team play.

The field is neat, I didn't get to see a game there.  I was at the Freakers Ball this past October.   :shy:
