1st- ksuno1stunner, Michael DID NOT say 4 wiggers...What he did say is 4 Wizards ( as in Washington Wizards) to prove it...they mentioned some of the wizards players in the next pay of the video.  He was also seen talking to Gilbert Arenas on the sidelines.  Trust me, I did not raise him to be disrespectful and he wouldn't use that kind of language.

2nd- I know that he can be a little mischievious BUT he's really a good kid at heart.  He goofs off a little too much sometimes but it's all in fun (must of the time).  Trust me he does get disciplined for the pranks that he pulls and he has learned from the majority of the stuff that he has done.  And don't think that we haven't had our fair share of "Lil Mike's Pranks" at home...But most of the time he knows where to draw the line.

What can I say...He's just a big kid...

I do sincerely apologize if his behavior is offensive from the bottom of my heart.  :-[

Are you kidding?

No.  We love Lil' Mike.  He sounds like he'd be cool as hell to hang out with.

    The very best.
If any one of us had the work ethic of Mike, we'd all be better off.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Haha, that makes sense now.  I didn't think he would say something like that, especially in an interview, and didn't make sense at all with everything else.  That's pretty sweet that he plays with the Wizards.

And it was not offensive at all.  Nothing the article mentions was bad at all, I thought the autograph prank was hilarious.  I was disappointed with the writer though, he tried to turn every prank into an arrest or something.  Probably jealousy.

ksuno1...If you think that's funny make sure you show him your car...I'd kick his "hine pots" if he did it to me...

KSU will love him on AND off the court...That you can count on!

If he looks like he's stepping out of line just mention my name and he'll staighten up, you can bank on that!

Big deal, we all pulled pranks in HS, hell I still pull pranks. The difference is no one writes about my pranks in the washington post. People seem to forget these kids are still humans. This writer had a bone to pick.

I once had an article in the Manhattan paper detailing my thrilling junior tennis season.

Did anyone else find the article kind of sad in ways?
It's hard to feel sorry for a future NBA lottery pick but in some ways I left the article feeling sad for Mike, not sorry, but sad.  I guess it's just a reminder of the darker side of being one of the nation's top basketball recruits and the politics inside of it all.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

To me the article had no REAL point exept to say that 'Lil Mike can be a major knuckle head at times...I think it was pretty harmless for the most part. The school is not as depressing as it appears.  Yeah, he doesn't like the cafeteria food but that's why the oven was purchased and then of course he calls home for me to make a weekly pizza/BBQ wings purchase from local deli which delivers. (what can I say, He's my baby).

I've been assured that he's in the best hands with Huggs and I'll just kick my feet up and leave the disciplining up to him NOW!  ;)

Haha, good call mombeasy.

I'm sure he'll behave for dalonte too.

So Mike likes wings?  Do they have buffalo wild wings in Washington?  If not and Mike discovers it in Manhattan, I think he may fall in love and never leave aggieville.  Best wings anywhere.  :lick:

I guess I agree that I'm having a hard time understanding where the author was going with the article too.  Not a big deal though, anyone with half a brain can see he's a good kid who likes to have some innocent fun and what kid doesn't?

I miss pizza from the east coast.   :'(

No love for pizza shuttle?

I mean really, once you do the infamous 'pizza drop' and the grease all cakes to the top of the pizza box, it can be decent.

Pissclaims,

Get a kleenex and dry your eyes...Michael's just fine. And this is the truth, Michael has never sounded more peaceful and satisfied than he has at any school he's been to.  And I believe one of the only complaints of this year was his OVEN being taken away. So don't feel sorry for "Lil Mike, he's in truly great spirits.

Since he entered the eighth grade, Beasley's career has followed the same cyclical pattern: He's dismissed from one school for misbehavior and immaturity;

Sounds like harsh punishment for the 'innocent and good-natured' kid.

And screw Pizza Shuttle. If you want cheap pizza than go pick up 3 or 4 totinos and throw them in the oven.
I'm telling you, this is not ANYTHING like the team from the beginning of conference play. You will see no more blowouts like what happened in OOC.  If we lose, it will not because these kids gave up, and it will be at the buzzer. -Rodless, before 97-70

I love the hypocrisy over here.  If this were a ku recruit, he'd be labeled a thug, trouble-maker, etc, etc.
