    The very best.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

With Cronin at UC, its going to be a lot tougher for KSU to come up with Mayo/Walker.  Cronin is an excellent recruiter and I don't know if Manhattan is going to be as appealing to them.  I'm guessing they would rather stay on the east coast.  Who knows though, anything can happen.  I think it will come down to KSU and UC in the end though.

Well... UC is in the Big "East"  and mostly all of the colleges that OJ and Bill list are all east coast teams except  arizona and KSU (because of Huggs).  Also, Walker and Mayo are from Huntington, WV, which  I would consider the east coast of the United states, and I'm guessing they would probably want to stay somewhat close to home.  Cincinnati is a short 2-3 hour drive from there hometown.

Cinicinatti = Midwest.

Manhattan = Midwest.

West Virginia = Appalachia.

Cincinatti reminded me alot of Kansas City when I was there...not exactly New York or Boston.

I'm not saying that Cincinnati is directly on the east coast, but it is that group that is considered to be an east coast team.  It plays many east coast teams and it is in the big east.  I understand that Cincinnati is in the midwest but it is close to the east coast, and it must be somewhere in proximity to the east coast if the Big "East" invited and accepted them into their conference.  Kinda like UNLV, I know they are not located directly on the West coast, but I would consider them a west coast team because of their Location.   Anways.. My whole point was, Oj mayo and bill walker are from the "East coast region" and getting them to come to Kansas would not be easy.  If you look at what schools they are considering; Cincinnati, UConn, Kentucky, Louisville, Marshall, North Carolina, Syracuse, and West virginia.  With the exceptions of Kansas State, and Arizona.  Because they will both (maybe not walker) probably only play one year of college basketball, they might want to stay close to home and not want to travel to K state.  I really think in the end though, it will come down to KSU and Cincinnati, but with Cronin being selected as the new coach, UC may have the advantage because he is a very good coach and recruiter.  Plus Cincinnati is basically OJ and Bill's hometown.

Not necessarily...the A10 added SLU this year, and I don't think anyone would argue that St. Louis is anywhere close to the Atlantic...   :D

haha, thats true, but cincy is much closer to the Atlantic Ocean than St. Louis.  What I'm trying to say is that Cincinnati is in close proximity to many of those schools that are on the east coast.  I can't believe I"m actually arguing about this so this will be my last post reguarding Cincinnati's location.  My whole point was that I think it would be difficult to take oj and bill away from that general area.  I'm guessing that they probably want to stay somewhat close to home because they probably will only play college ball for one or 2 years before they are off to the NBA.  It would be hard to recruit them to Kansas, which I'm sure you guys already understand so I don't know why I keep repeating myself.  I've been in front of the computer way too long today.

We're in the same conference as four Texas teams.  I'm pretty sure that makes us a Gulf Coast region team.
