I don't understand how we'll probably be one of the last four in, and you guys say we are getting a 12 seed?

Automatic bids (i.e., not always good teams) typically get 13-16 seeds.

Ok, setting aside that you're declaring Today (a day where we lost to ku when winning would've LOCKED UP a NCAA berth) as FINE and DANDY, you'd rather play a #5 or #6 seed in the 1st round than a #8 or #9 seed?

If it means having to play a #2 or #3 seed in the second round
instead of a #1 seed....then HELL YES.

The fact that you are worrying more about who we would face in the second round before locking up a for sure NCAA bid......well it just speaks volumes.

I was going to reply with something along those lines, but you beat me to it.

Catfan28... let me know when there's hot video of good-looking wbb players doing something dirty... leave the real basketball talk to us.

 LOL.....this topic has nothing to do with women's basketball.
And yet...you are supposed to have more knowledge than me ???

Please son......

I would be fine playing a 5-6 seed, we'll upset someone I think if we play one of those. . .too bad martin and harris got cold at the middle of the game. . .

Normally you're one of the most rational posters on this board, but this post just doesn't make any sense in the context of this thread.

winning better than losing.  not rational?

Did anyone argue that?

Thank you.  I think I'm getting better at this.  The 2 "cat(s)fans" are bringing out my A-game.

the title of the thread

the first post of the thread

As much as I would like to beat ku......

Today's results will work in our favor. We stayed with the
#2 team on a neutral court and lost by only 6 points.

We are gonna be a #12 or #11 seed, and that works
in our corner because it would put us against a 5 or 6
seed and then a #2 or #3 seed.

If we had beat ku today, we would have been a #9 or #8
seed and then been on the same side of the bracket
as the #1 seeds.

if you were the first to laugh at the irony in the 3 amigos thread you would completely redeem yourself.

I have a good memory when it comes to important things like CF28's avatar.  (I immediately noticed that he'd gone back to JR.)  I can't explain how I knew to search with 'nph.'  Maybe I am amazing afterall.
