I'm still getting the hang of this whole national program message board thing, so bear with me.  I think we're required to have some sort of post about why JJ Redick sucks(apparently, he's a leading player at one of the east coast schools, maybe in South Carolina?), so here it is.  I don't know enough yet about the national basketball scene to write knowledgably on the topic, so I borrowed this post from a fellow elite program's message board. It's by "kuFan."

Other than the fact that he was a dookie which was part of the reason people just hyped him up. Here are some numbers to take a look at.

Through all 4 yrs at Duke his points per game dropped come March and the postseason. In his final games of each year at Duke here is what he did.

Fresh SW16-5pts
Soph Final 4-15pts
Junior SW16-13pts
Senior SW16-11pts

His combined numbers from the final game of each year in the tourney came out to be:

13/60=21% Shooting

In other words the proof lies in the pudding that he was far from being the great player that ESPN and the rest of the nation hyped him up to be. JJ was nothing more than a sideshow act during the season and a choke artist come tourney time.

JJ Redick sucks!  And he writes bad poetry!  (I believe we're supposed to have another thread on that topic, too.)

You can't be racist and like basketball.
He only averages 11 ppg in Sweet 16/Final Four games!

What a loser.

We're a national program now, Nation.  This is what national programs do.

No bandage can cover my scars
It's hard living a life behind invisible bars
Searching for the face of God
I'm only inspired by the poems of Nas
Because the truth has carved my life's patterns
The reality of pain, and the joy of laughter
My hopes and dreams shattered
by the miscalculation of my own situation
It's difficult to keep my nerves patient
Facing the forecast of fears
that none of my peers have ever been faced with
I wanna reach the top floor, but I'm stuck in the basement
With not enough juice to burst through
the chains that have shackled my brain
It seems my dreams have carried me to a separate peace
apart from reality
Society is allowing me to grow into the man I'm destined to become
But how can I move when my entire skeleton is numb?
Numb from the obstacles that I've been given
Suddenly the bars connect to walls
and I find myself contained inside life's prison

What a whiner  :ku: :violin:

JJ Redneck was a no show in that LSU game.  He can't do well against big men.  He's going to have to do that in the NBA.
