who would you prefer of these two.

The Scandanavian JC from California, or the 25 ppg guy from Carl Albert JC??

Because  my hunch is that Huggins will go after a JC PF type.

Who gets the most boards and cheap buckets? We don't need a big guy that has a jumpshot so much as just one who can get easy second chance points...

I'd take Brown (the 25ppg guy) but I've heard he doesn't play defense...at all.  I'm sure its something we can fix though.  I didn't think Lance Harris could play defense before this year either.

We just need another post player that can score and we have all the pieces to the national championship puzzle.

We'll be extremely deep next year.

The Garbageman I was talking about awhile back??

I think that's what KSU needs, the guy that pisses off all the other teams fans because just when they think they've got a stop he's picking up the loss ball in the lane and dropping it in for two, or is always the guy the other team seemingly can never account for on the boards . . . thus getting 3 or 4 cheap baskets in big ballgames.

Whichever one is a better candidate like the one you/me mentioned is the guy I would pick .....a guy kind of like Kavaliauskas on A&M.

Whichever one is better.  I'm slightly leaning towards the Anthony Brown guy (that's his name right?) just because he looks stronger and more athletic.  I'm sure Huggins knows a lot more about both of them than I do so I'll be happy with whatever Huggs decides.

Ding ding ding.

I think the forgein juco PF from cali is a Kavaliauskas except like an inch or two shorter.  Exactly what we need, IMO.  We don't need a guy to make jumpshots.  We need a guy to hit the boards and pick up the garbage, as Dax said, because our current big men are incapable of doing that.

A little depth to go behind the Beasley/Walker/Hoskins  frontcourt.

yearby has limited offensive skills and is too short for his skill set and athletic ability.  but he is strong as hell and can rebound.  whoever we get should be able to do more than what yearby can imo.  so i´d go with a more skilled juco like brown or alexander.  if they don´t adapt defensively, they can sit on the bench. we´ll have other players.
"these are no longer “games” in the commonly accepted sense of the term. these are free throw shooting contests leavened by the occasional sprint to the other end of the floor."

Patrick Patterson!

Oden!

Seriously, you know he'll be brought up on Wabash several times a week until he signs with Duke.

Well, OJ Mayo mentioned us before, and Patterson is his teammate, and he's from West Virginia...like Huggins!  We definitely have the inside track on him.
