Wish you guys would keep recruiting garbage like Aldrich, Reed and Teahan.
Aldrich is a McDonald's All-American and one of the top 30 recruits in the class of '07. I'd hardly classify him as "garbage." We're talking about a guy who dominated people, and held his own against Greg Oden, up until a couple injuries set him back last summer. He's been averaging around 23 points and 17 rebounds this season.
Tyrel Reed is a 4-star recruit who had offers from Georgia Tech, Stanford, Oklahoma, Missouri, and K-State, among others. He officially visited K-State on 9/22 and Bob Huggins was the lead recruiter. Roy Williams and UNC recruited Reed for awhile also. The kid is a solid point guard who has the intangibles it takes to win at the Division 1 level. Garbage? That's a little far-fetched.
Teahan is walking on at ku over taking a scholarship at Wichita State. K-State and Huggins were also showing interest. Once again, not bad for a walk-on.
