It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

I've been teary for a day and a half over basketball!  You know, the sport that's been wandering through the desert for almost, what, 20 years?

I had given up.  There was, seemingly, no pulse.  This is a hire this university had to make for so many reasons though...and they did it! 

It's going to be FUN to be a basketball fan again.

I've felt like I was 8 years old and it's Christmas morning the last two days.

This is very similar to hiring Calipari* in 2000.  VERY similar - the classic "he won't come to Manhattan" hire that we have avoided for too long.



*Currently preparing for the Elite Eight
