So are we cheering for a TT loss @ ISU? Or do we want them to win (and assuming we win against OU) to set up an all or nothing 4/5 game in the Big 12 tourney? I guess either way, we'd have to face Tech, so it won't really matter what they've done.
It would be more interesting if everyone interviewed a different Big XII beat writer instead of a different national talking head (Rick Majerus excluded - love that guy. Gottlieb, too).Replace Bilas with the Omaha WH guy Shatel(?)...Andy Katz with Chip Brown(?) in Dallas...Mike DeCoursey with Jeffrey Martin, etc.The national guys have so much to cover, there's no way they can watch every Big XII game. The local guys aren't household names, but they know a hell of a lot more.

Personally, getting the perspective of the national guys that don't live and breathe Big 12 basketball is a nice change of pace. It puts a perspective on everything. The best example of that is Gottlieb and ku. All season(even when ku lost a few games) he has been talking about what he sees out of ku and what he sees out of the other top national teams and that ku compares favorably. The local guys don't watch any national basketball and basically give the same perspective as you would get from the actual hosts.
