I thought we had a good chance if OSU continued to play like they had been.  While I didn't think they'd play that bad, I also didn't think we'd get their Pitt/Texas game either.

You're right though, for the most part we're right where we expected to be; squarley on the bubble and now with no room for error.  Let's just go beat OU.

Pretty much everyone posting here is trying to make themselves feel better in their own way.  Expectations really don't have anything to do with it.  I don't expect my lost dog to return home tomorrow morning, yet can still be sad when it doesn't. 

Personally, I think the meltdowns are much more fun.

I'm disappointed after every loss.  I didn't think we were going to win, but once the game starts I can't help but feel like we should win the game.

My remote control takes a beating.  My wife yells at me.  Then I come to ksufans and vent with you guys.

That's why it's fun to be competitive again.

Had we lost a close game because we're not as good as them or as athletic I'd be fine.  But we had a bunch of stupid turnovers and other stuff we can control.
