Say goodbye buffs.  You're now officially officially worthless to the Big XII.

You contribute nothing in football.
You contribute nothing in basketball.

Thank you for the memories.  You were good once and a while, and watching you throw cups of urine and batteries and Nebraska fans was especially entertaining.  But you're no longer useful to us.  We're gonna have to go ahead and let you go.

I hear there's an opening in the MWC, where you can duel the likes of your rivals CSU and get pummeled yearly in basketball by such current powerhouses as BYU, Airforce, and UNLV.  Intense.

They are better than we are in football, which has pretty much always been the case.  They don't care about basketball, which has pretty much always been the case.  Nothing has changed (cept ol' Shorty Kleinau got canned LOL!)

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

I've always thought that Baylor would be the team to go.

Baylor's pretty bad, and always has been.

Colorado is worse, and it doesn't look like there's any sign of improvement.
2-10 in football. (<----HOLY &@#%ING crap!)Hawkins is crazy.  I don't see them going anywhere under him.
250ish RPI in basketball.  (<------LOL!@!!$!)Lame duck coach, no even decent recruits, already horrible team.

No improvement in sight.

Who do you geniuses think should replace Colorado?  Also, where can we pick up a TV market similar to the Boulder/Denver area?

tcu, Arkansas (who won't ever leave the SEC), Illinois (who won't ever leave the Big 10), Iowa (same as Illinois) would all be fine by my book...

tcu?  That is laughable.

And like you said, nobody is leaving the Big 10 or the SEC to come to the Big 12.

tcu is performing better in football than CU is. They also produce quality teams in other sports like baseball for instance. CU only has talent in skiing and cross country.

LOL

This is the first "delusional" thread you could find, and I'm sure you'll cling to it for quite a while.  And the fact that you think it's delusional just confirms that you won't last.

tcu is performing better in football in a much lesser league.  In the Big 12, they would be middle of the road at best.  And while they might be ok in baseball, they aren't anything special.  They are a tiny school with a small alumni base.  They add nothing in the way of a tv market as Dallas is already Big 12 country.  Adding them also screws up the North/South alignment.  tcu doesn't bring anything to the table.  They don't make anything better.  CU's upside is much higher with what they can do.  Hell, they are just 16 years removed from a football national title.

Oh no, this is far from the only delusional thread on this board.  I just enjoy the threads where people want to kick other teams out of the league when they bring very little to the table themselves.

I also enjoy the delusions coming from somebody talking about how hard it might be to last on a messageboard.

tcu is 22 in baseball right now. And weren't they ranked or atleast receiving votes in football early in the year? tcu beat a Big XII team this year. Do some research. And CU hardly has a fanbase right now. Their market isn't doing anything for us. Yes they had a NC in football in the early nineties, but both major programs are on a significant decline.

So we should kick out a team and one of the biggest TV markets in the league to bring in the #22 team in baseball and a team that might have been ranked in football at one point last year?

CU sucked this year in football and basketball.  I understand that.  But they look to be recruiting well in football and they have been much better than KSU in basketball up until this season.  They have a ways to go before they catch Baylor as far as bringing nothing to the table in the revenue sports.

CU was a lot more fun when it's President was telling us the "c" word was a term of endearment.

Since then..it's all going to hell.

Bring it.

Seriously, if not for Bill Snyder in the late 80s, you would be a Missouri Valley team right now with a 1-AA football program or no football program at all.  Colorado is just a year removed from winning the Big 12 North in football and a couple of years removed from playing in the NCAA tournament in basketball.  I'm not seeing how kicking them out right now for a tiny school like tcu is in the best interest of the league.

But hey, lets kick them out.  We'll get to find out really quickly how strong our league is as the Pac 10 would add them and put the full court press on UT to get themselves up to a 12 team league so they could play a football conference championship game.

Almost forgot to contribute to this thread:

I honestly think ku should be kicked out of the Big XII and be replaced with Iowa.  Better story lines across the board and the Hawkeyes would actually contribute to the conference without cheating.  They're probation is an embarrassment to the entire conference.

You can't kick out the flagship program in a revenue sport for your league.  It would be like the SEC kicking Kentucky out.

Now teams with the smallest football stadium in the Big 12 that are over 2 hours away from a decent sized TV market.  They are expendable.

Bill Snyder hurt my feelings and if we could just erase the better part of the last two decades, KSU would suck in everything!  Except that then they would be good in basketball since they were very good in the late 80's, but, aw, shucks!

You guys are mean!

Fixed your logic for you.
