Maybe it's just me being used to the late-season games under Wooly...maybe it's the weather outside...maybe it's my expectation of crunch-time failure as a KSU fan...I hope they got all the letdown out of their system at Nebraska.  I'd hate to just be looking forward to the NIT for the next couple of weeks.

Wooly usually won late season games like this one actually.

it's just you.  I'm feeling the start of something big...like a big winning steak.

And I'm really good at calling the start of winning streaks.

It's hard to shake the expectations of an eventual Woolly meltdown.

i also think it is just you.  i´m confident to the point of apathy.

Put a stamp on it.  We go 3-0 to finish the regular season.  :ksu:

We're like kidnapping victims who have a difficult time assimilating back into society.  We're never sure we're completely safe and always looking over our shoulders for another Wooly meltdown.

    I miss him ^^
I have a feeling that one of 2 things is going to happen:

1) We play a very solid game, and stay up double digits nearly the entire time and win comfortably.

2) We start out extremely cold, get behind, battle back, then wear out and lose it in the last 3-4 minutes.

I just don't see us winning a close game for some reason which is weird with how we've played this year.  Hope I'm wrong  :hope:

Then maybe it's me being used to playing at CU under Wooly?

FAN and I definitely had Stockholm Syndrome when it came to Wooly.

Again, you guys are way overplaying the Wooly angle.  Wooly always won games like this.

06 @ NU 66-64
05 @ CU 84-82
04 @ BU 64-62
01 @ CU 72-67

Only the 02 and 03 seasons did not pull one of these "hope games" off.  If Wooly was our coach, we'd be almost assured of a 2-1 finish, of course we'd probably be 6-7 or 5-8 right now and not 8-5.

My recollections on those close Wooly wins was that we had big leads that we let slip away.

How long does this take to break out of?

    shame on you, non-believers
I always hate playing @CU. I fear the apathy of their fans and team will rub off on us, and we'll play down to their level.

Slimz, I always have uneasy feelings about any Cats game.  Always have.  I tend to pace the entire house while the game is on.

Sluggish first half for the Cats.  Down early, came back to grab the lead.  But With a chance to stretch the lead, we either threw it away, had a shot blocked or took a low% shot.  That led to CU using the three to snatch the lead at the half.

20 minutes with our tourney hopes on the line.
