According to tonight's Manhattan Mercury
Out of the 26 services that project the NCAA Tournament field:
K-State is in 7 of them (27%)
ku, Texas A&M and Texas are in all 26
Texas Tech is in 22 of the 26 (85%)
Oklahoma State is in 19 of the 26 (73%)

Re: According to tonight's Manhattan Mercury
That is because they don't look at future games. K-State has a fairly easy schedule ahead of us (games we should win) while Tech and Ok State don't. We'll be in.

I'm glad to hear somebody say that because I've developed a little bit of a paranoia about the subject

Re: According to tonight's Manhattan Mercury
I've actually started developing a bit of uncontrolled anger over the subject when I see Oklahoma State listed as a tournament team.
Somehow the fact that OSU dosn't have a single road victory or a winning record in conference play seems to be overlooked.

listening to 610 today they had a guy on that said he was pretty sure that how you finish the season will play a role in the selection process and he was confident ksu would get the nod over OSU right now.

The Mercury also repeated that no 4th place team has ever been left out.
