I am a huge ku fan and I don't disagree with you, however, until the rules change i guess we have to live with them! A&M would still get the 1 seed in the tourney so its not that big of a deal. Plus ku and A&M still have to win out who knows what will happen!

I wish there was a way to crown an outright title winner in basketball. That's why I love the conference championship game in football.

Obviously ku has benefitted from an "accident of the circumstances rather than a measure of performance" b/c "their wins came against the soft teams" of the north.  Palm and Lunardi need to set these ku fans straight.

There is.  They just need to split the conference into divisions like in football and do a rotational schedule with 3 teams from the South every year home/away.

If ku and A&M remain tied, it'll be interesting to see if they show up at A&M's last game and give them their conference crown...and not show up at ku's game.  I believe they did that for ku a couple of years ago when they tied with UT but didn't show up to give UT their crown.  (I think that's who they tied with).

There is only one conference champion and thats the winner of the conference tourney.  The regular season is just a means to determine seeding.
