    The very best.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Ok, I was going to stay completely out of this, but now I have to step in.  Yes, there were some bullcrap calls, but there is nothing we can do about it now.  What's done is done.  What we need to do is stop whining, support our team, and then hope we kick the living crap out of the Jayhawks next year.

The thing about ku is they foul, alot.  The refs won't call everything and they are deep enough that it doesn't matter.  Anyone remember when Illinois beat ku in the sweet 16(I think)?  I remember watching and their 4's and 5's just hammered away at Roy's finesse inside guys wore them out.  They had about 4 guys that they just rotated in and hacked away, totally took ku out of the game.  Self does the same with ku now except this year his guards hack away.

Now that's how you get out a f***ing blood stain.
At least Gay U is exposed when the get to the Tourney and non-big 12 refs call the game correctly.

There is no such thing as "Big 12 Refs".  There are refs who work Big 12 games but the conference contracts them to work.  They are not employed by the Big 12 per se.  These refs work all over the country.
When I was a kid growing up in the projects, I used to dream of going into space, of escaping the slums, of killing an Ewok!

i think what he is saying is that there is basically 2 or 3 different reffing crews that we have had all year. that is what he means about big 12 refs

That's excactly what I mean. Also from all outward appearances, when you wear an officials shirt with the "Big 12" banner on the front - that would look like these are "Big 12 Refs". Either way, if we shoot 40% we probably win, if we have a post game - we probably win as well - I just think that it's interesting when a team that is "supposed" to win is matched pretty close in the first half gets handed some crucial calls in the second. One other thing, for those of you who have played some kind of upper tier sports, when the calls "appear" to be going in the other teams favor, and you get called for looking at a guy wrong, your motivation goes into the toilet and you conversely play much poorer, more conservatively, you tend to stop taking chances... we all know that to beat a very good team, you need to take chances.

Next yr with our crop of players coming in, it wont make a difference who the refs are - I believe we will be that good. Chum, there is not fighting - I just love a little smack talking. I will drink beer with any KStater!

Tommy,

Shut up, move on.  The game was not decided by the officials.

My man, I have moved on - just talking about it... that's all - you're a little late bringing the heat, so go and fire at someone else -

enjoy!

I'm starting to hate many of the new people.  Powertards need to stay on their own board.

opcat was here from the start.  length of residence is a poor predictor of post quality.
"these are no longer “games” in the commonly accepted sense of the term. these are free throw shooting contests leavened by the occasional sprint to the other end of the floor."

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.
