What teams should be in good position as far as who they lose and who they are bringing in...

K-State I would say is brining in the most as compared to what we lose. We lose Cartier and Harris (inconsistent). We also lose Wright's defense but Walker's should make up for that. We keep the leadership of Dave and we add perimeter scoring with Pullen.
A&M's class isn't in the top 25 and they are losing Law and Kavalaskis (both average double figures).
ku will probably lose Arthur, Wright, and Rush. Collins should go, ass. But they are only bringing in Reed and Aldrich so I see them staying around the same.
UT loses Durant, brings in a sixteenth ranked class and keeps everyone else  :frown:
OU loses two of their three leading scorers but brings in a fifteenth ranked class
OSU loses Boggan but keeps three players that average double figures and has the 25 class.
Tech loses Jackson (twenty points per game) but keeps Zeno (17 pts per game) and supposedly has a "sleeper" class.

So with all of that, where should we be at next year?

I really don't see how you can say that we will probably lose Wright when he has established (very recently) that he will be back. Also, there's no way Collins is gone. Scouts will tell him he's too short. We will most definitely lose Rush and Arthur.

ku won't lose anyone.  Maybe Rush.

Law will be a huge loss.

Texas will be as good as they are this year.

NU loses Maric nuff said.

ISU should be solid as I think they return most.

I could be wrong but doesn't mizzou have a bunch of upperclassmen?

We're in good shape.

Supposedly he has said a couple of times to different people that he is gone after this year. Rush is gone. Wright should leave, regardless, I really am not that afraid of him. In the past, people telling ku that they are staying hasn't worked out too well for them.... I don't think Collins is gone, I'm saying I wish he was.

I probably shouldn't have been so definite with Arthur, but I still think there's a good chance he leaves. If it weren't for the new rule, he'd already be in the NBA (or NBDL). It just seems to me like he's ticked about his playing time. He's only playing 20 minutes a game, and he repeatedly said during his recruitment that he wanted to go someplace where he could start immediately.  I could (and hopefully) be wrong though.

    The very best.
I'd love to see Rush and Arthur leave. That would really hurt them and their recruits aren't really immediate impact.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Mike Anderson is in a bad spot.  He's only got one skalershipe(sp?) to give next year, so... in other words Mizzou next year will be Mizzou this year.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

Obviously we bring in a lot more than we lose.  Our overall talent will improve.

Unfortunately, ku's talent level will stay the same.

MU I really don't see getting any better.  Hannah is their team.  It will stay that way for the next two seasons.  How he goes is how Mizzou goes.

Nebraska..It's hard to say.  They'll lose Maric either this year or next, and either way the recruits coming in won't make up for him.  But they will make it so NU isn't a 4 guard team with one center.

Colorado..Is it possible NOT to improve?  I mean really..They're already at the bottom.  There's nowhere else to go.

ISU..Don't know anything about their recruiting.  ISU was pretty bad this year.  Who knows.

UT's will be about the same as well. They lose Durant but bring in some other really talented guys, so the overall talent will be the same instead of just one really talented guy and a few others sprinkled in.

TTU, their recruiting class is underrated, and Bob Knight has NEVER missed the tournament in back to back years since he was at Army.(might be broken this year)  So I don't see them getting worse, and maybe a spot or two better as far as standings go.

A&M has a very nice class coming in.  "Talent" wise they'll technically have more, but with how Acie Law and Kavasdfaydskjadf have been playing for them this year I can't really see them being replaced by anyone.

OSU has a good class coming in.  They'll be better talent wise.

OU has a good class coming in as well.  Capel is the surprise coach of the conference.  They'll be better.

Baylor.  Uh.  Probably worse.  Drew is a good recruiter, and they already have a ton of athletes on their team.  But they suck as a team.

In short, damn near everyone in the Big XII should be better in the future.  We are going to be a very, very good conference soon.

Perry and Richardson are pretty big losses for NU, though NU does have a very good JUCO guard coming in.

Fan, would you mind posting in my Mike Beasley thread on the announcements board?? It would give it a lot of validation and it would make me feel special...  :shy:

talking about norwood?  it is up in the air if he will still make it to nu.

nu took some chances in recruiting this year.  if they all pan out they´ll have a good group, especially jucowise.  but they could end up hurting if luck goes against them.

At some point those ku boosters get tired of paying child support for the ku players, gotta go league to make up the slack.
