Thats the point.  To my knowledge, only you guys and the dorkies need cheer sheets.  Or atleast have had them exposed to the internets.

I tried in chat last night, and Tom almost booted me from the room.  I posted the link earlier this year and it was ripped down literally in 30 seconds.  Most of the more knowledgeable ones know, theres just too many idiots to preach too.

Which is why you get nothing but the same stuff from the ku students, game, after game after game.

Plus, I saw more hot KSU chicks in one camera shot last night, then I've seen countless camera shots of the student section at ku . . . land of the trolls.

I will Rusty.  If you can provide proof that a paternity test in MO = dead beat dad.

The Mo court site is down.  That court date was some time ago.  We heard about CJ being a "dead beat dad" because that's what his court case was about.

This wasn't that at all.

Show me a link that Brandon is delinquent on a child support payment...I'll tell all of phog.net

Well, if you're being taken to court over child support, then that can only be one of two things really . . . 1. They're looking for more money.  2.  You're not paying it.

Agreed.  But that wasn't what Brandon's court date was about.

If the site comes back up it says nothing regarding child support.

From a social worker:

Being a former social worker, more than likely, she's requested child support and he claimed he was not the father or wanted to be sure so thus...the paternity testing.  That kid is close to 2 years old if I remember correctly, has Rush's last name(which I know doesn't mean much). So basically, he probably hasn't been paying child support since the kids' birth thus...deadbeat dad...also, if he had questions about paternity, you hope he'd would've been smart enough to question it right after the kid was born.

dax, i think you´re jumping the gun.  if i recall correctly, some chick is trying to prove rush is the father of her son.  only if/when that is proven will any legal matters regarding child support be considered.

still a great chant though.  especially with the thrown condoms to accompany.

I've also been told the same, Rusty.  Usually, a "default judgement" is entered when paternity has been determined.  The fact that he hasn't had Giles like legal issues since this would indicate that child support is being paid by someone.  Most likely Kareem.

Given ku's history, I'd love to see that paper trail . . . or lack of one.

Thankfully I am naive regarding Child Support payments.  Here is my logic - Who do you think sets the amount that your child support payments are?  The courts right?  So even if the child is 2 (where did that info come from?) if we are just now proving paternatity do you really think that child support payments have been set?  If no payment schedule has been set, how do you call him a dead beat dad?

My best guess is Brandon probably had a kid when he is 18 (not that all uncommon unfortunately) and she has either not taken time to set up paternatity/child support payments or maybe Brandon has been giving her money, but not much (after all he is playing college hoops tough to earn a paycheck)  This girl sees that Brandon is going to make some $$$ soon.  So she wants to get everything lined up for when he collects that first NBA check.

Sad and not a great situation.  But hardly a "dead beat dad."

At best, he was irresponsible.  The condoms were a great touch.  Wish I had been there to see it.

Rush is still a deadbeat in my eyes.

It is not down.  I just looked.

Go here and type in Brandon Rush: http://www.courts.mo.gov/casenet/cases/searchCases.do?searchType=name

It is the first one that pops up.  Case # 0616-FC02494  filed on 3/1/06.

Click on the case # to get the details.

You will see that the date of disposition was 10/18/06 which means the case has been decided.

Click on the Civil Judgements tab and you will see that the judgement was entered against: RUSH, BRANDON L

To be fair, we can't really say that he was or is a deadbeat dad.  All we know for a fact is that he fathered a child and the mother had to get a court to order him to pay child support.  And we know that she won.  That is close enough for heckling purposes.

There's no reason to have a paternity test if Rush is giving her money.  (Unless he simply views her as a charity case.)  And if Rush isn't giving her money for his child, he's kind of a deadbeat.  Oh, and don't bother trying to raise the child, Brandon.

I'm more interested in how long Rush can survive in the NBA.

Great line.  All I could think of when you said that was the guy staring down the tank in Tiennaman Square.

Not sure if that's funny or sad.
