...but you can finish 3rd or 4th in the conference and make the NCAA's.  The end is in sight for the guys, and they need to finish strong here, taking care of business at Colorado on Saturday and going down to OSU and playing as hard as they did tonight.

Great effort by the guys.  It was too bad that more shots didn't fall, but it's hard to be too critical when everyone they're up against is bigger or quicker.  They played with a lot of heart and acquitted themselves much better than the game in Lawrence.  We really missed Billy tonight.  Having him inside with his athleticism could have made the difference.  Ifs and buts are the chips and nuts of the KSU fan, though, and there's always enough for a big ol' party.  With the new guys next year we'll be much closer to having the talent for an even playing field with ku.

We've made tremendous strides this year.  The guys just need to close it out strong.

Before the season tipped off if you'd said to the average KSU fan: would you take 19-9 with three winnable games left in late February I doubt many would have turned you down.  No matter what happens from here on out this has been a good start.
