Statistical Preview for KSU-ku game tonight

Hey guys,

First of all, I want to compliment you on the new look of the site ... it really is fantastic!

Some of you know me ... I'm a ku alum/fan and do a lot of stats-related stuff.  Anyway, I preview all of ku's games with prediction models, player ratings, etc. and thought I'd share my preview for tonight's game.  It may or may not be your thing, so I'm just putting it out there for you.  If you have any questions I can answer, fire away.  I was on a long business trip for the first game between us and didn't put one together, otherwise I would have shared that with you as well.

Mostly, I'm hoping for a game that's played well by both sides, not decided by controversial calls ... and I'll censor the last thing I'm hoping for

ku posters may not realize it, but tom bans non-ku posters at the drop of a hat.  he keeps a few of the stupider ksu fans around for the ku fans to laugh at, but he runs the rest of us on a regular basis.


in my case, within the space of a week or so:

one of my posts included a veiled reference to ksufans.com.  banned, i reregistered.
i posted a link to texags.  banned, i reregistered.
i posted a link to kenpom.  banned, ip this time, i gave up.

Sys, I'm sorry about the difficulties.  I'm not a very political person (or savvy at it for that matter), so I tend not to get involved.  Not knowing the exact rule or term that was violated, etc ... I will just say that I wish it were easier for there not to be conflicts.  Obviously, the last time when you posted a link to kenpom, that wasn't about the content of your post ... just an attempt to ban you specifically.  But it will definitely make me careful not to post any link to rivaling message boards.

i know, but it sounds better to say i got banned for linking kenpom´s site, so i like to present it that way.
