Switching gears a bit...I'm impressed with the K-State crowd. I love the placement of the students at half court. Their crowd for football is always very good, but their bball crowd has stepped it up.

They have been focusing on Hubalek, this game. It will be nice if they go to Wesley more often, since KSU is doubling Jiri. He should be open, and if he isn't, then someone else is.

It's good to see McDermott working the refs a little more. I think that might get us a few calls in the future. He's been very reserved against the officials, while everyone else seems to give them an earful.

KSU is accustomed to playing like this. Huggins always has very physical teams. They come out from the beginning of the game with lots of contact, which the refs proceed to ignore. Kansas and Oklahoma state do it, too.
Teams like ISU lay off, and as the game goes on, the ticky tack fouls start to be called.
