I scanned seven pages so you didn't have to.  8)  (Sorry that it's a little late today)

Quote
Let's hope the K-State team is overlooking this game as much as the fans are. All they are talking about is the Kansas game on monday.
- fans can look ahead, players can't.  We needed the win and we got it.  We can't afford another upset.

Quote
KSU playing their standard chest bump defense on Jiri. Wonder if they'll ever start calling the fouls on it.
- the Big 12 is a physical conference...get used to it.

Quote
Another phantom foul on Rahshon.

Quote
Another airball chant after a KSU player hacks one of our shooters.
- this guy seriously thinks the officials are out to get them.  [here's a secret: they are]

Quote
Why are we launching 3s with a 6 point lead??
- b/c that's the ISU offense, pray and fire away

Quote
just seeing that sea of purple makes me want to puke
- that would be the student section - the best in the conference

Quote
man Bob Huggins has a powergut.
- yours is most likely bigger

Quote
KSU is shooting very poorly. We need to take advantage while they're cold. They're not going to keep shooting this badly all game long.
- he sees the future

Quote
This is not good.
- this must be where the run starts

Quote
Damn, we went cold
- I assumed correctly

Quote
k-state's fans look pretty queerish
- obviously you haven't seen any ku games this season

Quote
There's that Hoskins again. He killed us last time they played.
- he is simply amazing

Quote
Queerish if you mean packed house.
- surprisingly not from a k-stater

Quote
Sure you'll call an offensive on us.....
- the refs were dead set on charges for the first part of the game.  Most were good calls, a few weren't.

Quote
can we get over this 16 points in the first hurtle with KSU?
- defense wins games

Quote
Back n the day, when i was in the student section of football games against KSU, my favorite chant to start was "Queers wear purple, clap, clap, clap, clap clap!"
- this hurts.  this really hurts.  :frown:

Quote
WTF!!!! Is with the Refs call offense on us for every little tap! THIS IS BS CALL SOME OF THAT SH#$$%T#@#$ ON THE OTHER END!!!!!!!

Quote
Man, they are letting KSU get away with EVERYTHING on defense!

Quote
FU$*&*$&*$*&*%*%#*(@*#URUISFHISDFIOWJFOIWDJFIO@#HR (*UW*ERG
Another Charge!! WTF!!!!!
- this guy would definitely be booing if he were at the game

Quote
At the half
ISU 20
KSU 22

Quote
Nice half, all in all. We didn't get pushed around like we did in Ames.

Now if they can step it up a notch in the 2nd half. that's when the cats nailed us, last time.
- be prepared to be bitchslapped

Quote
The way this crew is calling charges you're going to either see a three point contest in the second half because everyone is scared to drive ... or a flopfest like none you've ever seen.

Quote
Switching gears a bit...I'm impressed with the K-State crowd. I love the placement of the students at half court. Their crowd for football is always very good, but their bball crowd has stepped it up.
- starting with the Nebraska game at home, Bramlage has become one of the toughest places to play in the Big 12

Quote
They have been focusing on Hubalek, this game. It will be nice if they go to Wesley more often, since KSU is doubling Jiri. He should be open, and if he isn't, then someone else is.
- only got burned on the Maric type pick on the baseline once.  Glad to see we've fixed it

Quote
game over down 10
- this is with 16 min in the game.  We've never taken over games like this before this season.  In the past, down only 10 to K-State was nothing. Now, climbing Mt. Everest looks easier.  God bless Bob Huggins.

Quote
**** **** damn!!
- this guy has set a record for profanity in a thread.  He would fit in well here, I'll send him an invite.

Quote
15:58 KSU up by 10 - is this the hole that we have had to try and dig our selves out of starting to form :(

Quote
Its time to just let Mike Taylor shoot whenever he wants. The rest of the team can not handle the ball or shoot against this D.
- even Taylor only had 17.  That backcourt in Chipola must have been amazing

Quote
It's good to see McDermott working the refs a little more. I think that might get us a few calls in the future. He's been very reserved against the officials, while everyone else seems to give them an earful.
- Everyone says CMA is Wooldrige but I think McDermott is the next JW.

Quote
the refs are making no friends, I think KSU fans are almost as upset as we are
- I was very proud of the booing effort we gave in the first half

Quote
KSU is accustomed to playing like this. Huggins always has very physical teams. They come out from the beginning of the game with lots of contact, which the refs proceed to ignore. Kansas and Oklahoma state do it, too.

Teams like ISU lay off, and as the game goes on, the ticky tack fouls start to be called.
- if we have Welmer and preferably Hightower too on Monday, we win

Quote
So what happens when an entire team fouls out of a game? Does the other team just win and the game is over?
- stop being so dramatic

Quote
trying to start a run??? If we could pull this off my neighbors will think I'm insane. That and I will not have any voice left from yelling at my tv
- uhhhh, no.

Quote
and ... nevermind ...
- exactly

Quote
why can't we go on a run like harris is? Everything he throws up goes in!
- please let him be on fire Monday night

Quote
Those lucky purple bastards are shooting out of their minds.
- no, we're that good

Quote
Bob Huggins favorite play= the moving screen.
- noticed more potential travels on us than moving screens but when the officials are scared to call a foul on you, you can do anything you want.

Quote
cartier is such a stupid name - i hope he got picked on.

Quote
For some reason hearing the KSU crowd chant 4 and 8 to our guys seems a little off. How soon winning makes you forget your teams history.
- I LOVED THIS.

Quote
think they meant that their team is 8-4. Probebly just got confused which digets go first. Poor wildcats, tough to shake tradition.
- KSU tradition is winning.  We're Back

If we're lucky enough to have one Monday night, it will be a lengthy novel.

I think someone who failed out of a crappy city college would also probably have a lot of time on their hands.

I was thinking the same thing.  Welmer acts like a little school girl around Huggins.

    shame on you, non-believers
"4-8"? That's what the student section was chanting? We couldn't tell from where we were sitting.
