First game, tied 0-0 bottom of the 2nd. KSU is the "home" team.

Not on radio.  Following on the gametracker off k-statesports.

 Wiley struck out.
     Link flied out to rf.
     Bunker walked.
Rumler walked; Bunker advanced to second.
Scott singled through the right side, RBI; Rumler advanced to third; Bunker scored.

2 outs, they walk 2 batters

1-0 good guys!

    The very best.
LOL@The yearly "first baseball game of the year" thread.

Will these things continue when we are in the midst of our yearly 8 game conference losing streak?
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

5-0 K-State, top of the 9th inning.  Just need 3 outs, guys!

Sorry for the gap in updates, it took me awhile to get home and get situated.

We beat Centenary 5-4 after an 8th inning rally and beat PSU again 4-0! Cats start out 3-0 and finish the Shreveport series tomorrow vs Centenary! (1 pm)

What is more likely...

Royals finish above .500 or K-State baseball makes post season (as in NCAA Tournament)?

Wrong again.

I don't follow KSU baseball like I do bball or football, but I always made it out to 6-7 games in the spring.  While I've been in Lawrence, I've gotten out to see them when they're in town to play ku.  They've gotten me excited a couple of years by beating down the Shockers, but then they always let me down once conference season starts.

A serious investment has now been made in KSU baseball . . . it's time they start doing something other then finish last.

I agree.  Brad Hill brought in some pretty good freshman last year and this year, though.  The "young team" excuse has already started..we only have 2 seniors.
