 :twobirds: Asbury

:frown: Wooldridge (even though he was a nice loser)...

And you're just a loser.
I'm pretty sure I remember you consistantly bitching about when we fired Wooldridge.  It was probably the smartest thing Weiser has ever done.

That would have been a terrible thing to say...Huggins will never be like Wooly.

I am so happy that Coach Huggins is our coach! :D

I think somebody needs to get with Hoax and other ku football fans . . . always needing just this, or just that to get over the hump.

I just want to know one thing.  When in Jim Wooldridges entire tenure at KSU, was KSU ever in the upper half of the Big 12 after 11 games??  When was KSU ever on the NCAA bubble?? When was there ever the words, "KSU if they close out well is probably a lock for the NCAA tourny"??

I can remember a couple of times, there was maybe the thought that if KSU pulled off a major miracle KSU might go to the NCAA tourny with a bunch of other good teams falling flat on their faces.   But not once was KSU so close, and in such control of their own destiny in terms of the NCAA tourny under Jim Wooldridge as they are now.    That's SIX YEARS of the Jim Wooldridge regime and NOT ONE post season tourny, NOT ONE conference season with over 6 wins.

This is why I am so sick of, "We need to give Wooly credit" . . . credit for what??  Doing nothing in SIX years.  Don't give me this, "But Asbury . . . " Bull@#%$, after six f'ing seasons it's all on you baby . . . and Jim Wooldridge FAILED.

Who in the hell thought Bob Huggins was going to be excercise Jim Wooldridge's committment to failure fully out of the program in one season (okay besides the tards on KSUFans.com)??

Plus, don't talk to me about Huggins recruits . . . he went balls out for the point guard we needed and he didn't get him.  Wooly had SIX F'ING years to get KSU a solid High School PG or two and FAILED!! He got Bill Walker here, but he can't do anything about injuries.   Of the other three the only real disappointment is Young, and the other two are projects pure and simple.

Dax - not sure if that tirade was for me, just wanted to clarify that I was not being literal, just stating that is what I expected the thread to contain for comedy.  Guess it touched a nerve.

It was a nice rant though and everything in there was spot-on with the exception of BY being a disappointment.  I'll give BY a pass for being forced into the PG role and playing all season on a bum knee.
