Would Huggins winning the NC next year outweigh what Snyder did for us in football?
My first reaction to the question was no, but then I thought about it for a second and it seems a lot clearer now.  I say yes, winning our school's first and only NC would outweigh the Decade of Dominoes.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

Winning it all is much greater than the greatest rebuilding job ever.  We just like to think that the greatest rebuilding job ever is more important than it is because it's all we've got.

Absolutely.  And for this reason, Snyder refuses to stand and cheer at men's basketball games.  He fears the end of his reign of terror.

Of course. Anything less, and Snyder is still king. Big 12 title in football>>>final 4 (imo)
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

    KSU Super Fan
Why can't we just have both? Damn you Ohio State, Florida, Texas and (a little bit) Wisconsin.

    DOD Take Two
K-State had some tradition in basketball. Huggins has just pulled us out of a recent stretch of bad years. A NC would be awesome. And would give him the credit he deserves as a coach. NC or not, Huggins has already done one heck of a job.

However, KSU basketball has never been the laughing stock of college sports like KSU football. KSU basketball wasn't known as Futility U. KSU football was. I don't think that a NC next year would take away from the legend Bill Snyder. As I said the championship would be monumental to KSU sports, but it would never compare to the overall job that Bill Snyder did. Huggins didn't inherit the nation's worst team like Snyder did.
