if we were going to have a lapse in effort, the ku game at the Phog would be the one you would want it at. We were supposed to lose and lose big. We can't lose any of the easy games and we were going to have to have a let down eventually... I guess I'm just glad that it came against ku rather than Colorado  :hope:

I don't think that we were supposed to lose big, but yeah, otherwise, I agree.

Okay - if that's big to you, then I agree that we were supposed to lose big.  The spread was around 12.

Thats BS. If you can't give it your all versus your rival, your not going to play hard against a lot of teams. Just like football, we played our heart out against Texas and had a lack of effort in the next two games. (Yes, even though we won by 19, I would still call it a lack of effort in comparison to previous games). Things better pick up versus the Huskers or they will surprise us.

Hugs said the Bennett was sick tonight and some posters have said that other players were sick this week as well.  The seeming lack of effort might not be entirely their fault.

Maybe you didn't know this already but ku is not our rival. Our real rivals are Mizzou and Texas.
