Callahan won the North....the North and then allowed OU to set Big 12 Championship game records, so I guess I'll just ask you the same question on Callahan.  KSU's head coach posted a winning record and bowl appearance in his first year, something Slash never did.

Well, you've got to have something to divert your attention from the mediocrity that Callahan has driven your program into.

The bowl streak, gone.  Barely above .500 in conference.  The streak against ku, gone.  Still, in year three, he has yet to win 10 games DESPITE an additional game being thrown in.  (Definition of irony: Firing a coach the season that his team reached 10 wins, and then being excited about reaching nine wins with the new coach when there is an additional game on the schedule and no(yes ZERO) other ranked north teams.)  Not to mention the worst blowout in NU history since the leather helmet(hell maybe ever) in Callahans first year.

It's funny though, Husker fans never seem to notice those parts.  All they see is "We won the north!  Even though we didn't finish ranked..or anyone in the north for that matter..and failed to reach ten wins..We must be improved because we won the north!"

Cornhole State . . . now defining success as beating KSU, going to a better bowl then KSU, and winning the downtrodden Big 12 North.

Just think, it used to be about winning National Titles, now its whether they beat KSU or not.   The mighty surely have fallen.

Cornhole State . . . completing the worst 3 year run of NU football since the 1950's.  But hey . . . "They're Back".
