I can see Huggy as an intimdating person.  He would look more of the part if he lost some lbs....

Just worry about his health, is all.

He's all in now. I dont see him going anywhere. He played down the rivalry thing, but now he understands what a sh#t hole of a University they have over there.

God bless Bob Huggins.    :woohoo:

I don't understand your logic. A smaller person would be more intimidating??

I was in Vegas sitting two rows behind the USC fan that was riding him the whole game.

At one point Huggs turns around, looks right at the guys and says, "I don't go to McDonalds and yell at you in your place of work, don't yell at me for doing my job".  Dude was absolutely speachless.

Literally one of the funniest things I've ever witnessed.

You know it's pretty bad when Dave "held it I've got to get Lew Perkin's dick out of my mouth" Armstrong is ripping on ku as he did early yesterday morning on 810.  Said the crowd and antics was as low class as he's every seen.

If ku was low class last night, they've got to be doubly low class for a real rivalry game that actually means something.

Poor MU.

I can't wait to hear what Huggins has to say about that place before next year's game.  If he really wants to push their buttons he just needs to make a few comments about Allen Fieldhouse being an out of date dump.  Maybe lump it in with some of the crappier venues he's been to.

"It holds a few more fans than the Bison Sports Arena at NDSU, but it's not quite as nice."

"We had a few guys slip last year.  I think the roof leaks."

"KSU upgraded from Ahearn 20 years ago.  Considering that Allen was a slightly larger replica of Ahearn, I'm surprised that they still can't raise the money to come up with something better."

"It's really no wonder Roy Williams left.  Haven't you seen the Dean Smith Center?"

Now, ask yourself . . . would there ever be a KthUg fan waiting by the KSU locker room to verbally assault Jim Wooldridge, Tom Asbury or Dana Altman??

Absolutely not.  This is a good thing.

This thread/topic is reminding me of one of the better movie quotes of all time:

Quote
Look, mister, there's... two kinds of dumb, uh... guy that gets naked and runs out in the snow and barks at the moon, and, uh, guy who does the same thing in my living room. First one don't matter, the second one you're kinda forced to deal with.

We have to realize wednesday was a sigh of relief for ku fans.  Outside of our early season slump, lately ku fans have had all kinds of things thrown in their faces.  "K-State will never hire Huggins", "K-State won't be able to sign any of these Top 10 guys Huggins is in on", K-State will have to wait a few years b/c they're really going to suck until Huggins gets his kids in", "K-State will never beat Texas" and on and on.   When we fell on our face wednesday in Lawrence, ku fans could relax for a moment, but the reality of the situation still caused some to go off like this fella did toward Coach after the game.  The same guy was probably one of the many ku fans saying "you all should keep Wooly, look at the talent he's brought in, he beat us, and he really has you guys on the cusp."  Then we went and upped the ante and whether they want to admit it or not we are a threat.  And we looked like we might be on the edge of being a major threat much earlier than any ku fan (or K-State fan for that matter) could've ever imagined.  That's what led to this altercation, nasty posters from the school newspaper, and DUI chants from their students.  For now we have to let ku fans have this one, their brief reprieve; but we can rest in the knowledge that Coach will have us competing with and beating ku soon, perhaps as early as in another week and a half.

ku fans invested a lot of time and energy convincing themselves and anyone who would listen that ksu could never recruit on the same level or play at the same level as them.  What huggins is doing at ksu is putting egg on a lot of people's faces and they do not like it at all.

Now...if we can just find a way to play at the same level.

I miss Huggins.  Let's win one for him.

Or for Serge.

Or maybe we should avenge the disrespect they showed Jason Bennett.

Whatever.

Just win.

Wasn't that fan called out by name in a KC Star article?  Then, wasn't there a follow up article about the vulgarity of the Muck Fizzou t-shirts and the language used by the fans?
Welcome back, Bill.
