Rankings

Rutgers is ahead of us on gpc.  Can someone explain?

Washington is like 6 spots ahea, and they have the same number of 4 stars and 3 stars.  Why is this???

some of the ranking (not all of it) is based on stars per player signed -- since we had a million 2-stars, they bring down that portion of the ranking.

Not really....if you sign a huge class, and have a ton of 2 stars on scholarships, it limits your recruiting of better players in following years, as the scholarships are tied up, and insures that you remain mediocre.

In a lot of ways it's better to have a 15 player class with 3 four stars, 5 three stars, and 7 two stars, than to have a 30 player class with 3 four stars, 5 three stars, and 22 two stars.

rivals can't factor in that we are trying to rebuild our relationships with the kansas jucos that helped us so much in the 90s.  its all so f'ing subjective.  dont worry about it.

That sounds like a myth : The whole juco placements to appease the coaches there.

what i have heard of is juco coaches chasing off coaches from other schools when a good player is placed.
