I think it's pretty good on paper in terms of immediate needs.

our top 3 needs were Oline  got 3, 3star juco's, and a ton of HS kids.

LB's Got Patterson, Rohleder, Cuba, WAlls, and the Harris kid as a suprise.

WR's I think we did the best with other than Oline, and this was probably the second biggest need.

Brown, Deon Murphy (who also returns kicks which we needed).  And basically 3 3 star recievers all with good size and speed.

Abana at DT was huge for us to get, and it sounds like STewart may have been a steal.  Getting Abana gives Crews and Faustin more time to develop hopefully.

In the secondary we didn't need any immediate help except at safety and guess what, we got chandler.  This gives guys like Tigner and haynes time to develop.  The other Db's and Athletes we recruited aren't that big (there are a couple of 5-10-11 guys but they are very fast.  Our secondary is loaded and they won't be called upon to make an instant impact.

For this next year we really will concentrate on QB, Dline, Linebackers and running backs.  This is good because we probably wont' ahve as many schol's to give out after the 2 big classes.

There are always surprises and disappointments, but we won't really know that for a while.

Take a look at this list: 2002.  And ask yourself how much the 5 & 4 stars panned out (Jordan) vs. the 3 & 2 (Archer, Lilja, Watts, etc.)  But overall, there weren't as many 2 stars compared to this year.

Two principles:

1.  The guys that are hyped never do much.
2.  The guys you never hear about do.

That's pretty much it.

Step 1.  Collect 2-star recruits.
Step 2.  ??
Step 3.  Profit.

A guy that nobody is talking about is Pinchback.  The guy is 6'5"/250 coming out of High School.  30 more pounds with TE quickness and you've got a solid right tackle.  I'm not saying his D'Brickashaw, but watch out for this guy in three years.

Pinchback is over 280 now according to his coach.
