SANTA MONICA COLLEGE: Played two seasons for the Corsairs and emerged as a dominating presence in the middle during the 2006 campaign... Closed out an exceptional sophomore season by receiving honorable mention All-America honors from JC Gridwire, despite playing on a Santa Monica team that went just 3-7... Was also a first team All-Western State’s Conference selection... Tied for fourth on the team with 33 total tackles during 2006... Over 20 percent (7.0) of his tackles occurred in the opponent’s backfield, including 3.0 sacks... Also had two pass breakups, two forced fumbles and an 80-yard fumble return for a touchdown... FRIENDS SCHOOL: Played just one season of high school football at the Friends School in Virginia Beach after emigrating to the U.S. from Nigeria... Earned the nickname “The Nigerian Nightmare” as a prep after quickly adjusting to the American game.
