    The very best.
Anyone else think we are going to get rejected?
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

I'm a K-State fan so I'm pessimistic. Huggins will turn us down. :crybaby:

Maybe it's time to make www.accepttheofferhuggy.com?

I think Kietz and Fitz should have a "scoop-off" to decide who is the best K-State "insider".

Didn't the gpc.com poster "TX" first break the news of Snyder's retirement?  Any of you know that kid?

I'd love to know which login at GPC.com it is that Sean Kelly uses to steal premium info...

Given that Huggins' most recent statement reads like a K-State infomercial I'd think our chances are probably pretty good.

"I want to work with people who care. I'd just like to work with people who are honest, who care about kids ... who are going to work as hard as myself and my staff at trying to make guys as successful as they possibly can be. That's what it is," Huggins replied when asked what he was seeking from a new job. "I'm the son of a coach. That's why I wanted to coach. It's never been about being on TV or being famous or making a lot of money. I just like to coach.

"When you get into this, you want to coach at the highest level, because you want to be challenged. You want to be able to match wits with the guys that are the best. That's what motivates me."

Tim Weiser's KSU Talking Points:
1. We care! - check
2. We won't jack you around. - check
3. We really give a crap about our athletes. - check
4. We have to win by working harder than the competition. - check
5. Sure our media market sucks but .... - check
6. You won't get much exposure here but .... - check
7. We can't pay you as much as most programs could. - check
8. The Big XII is a bigtime conference. -check
9. You'll get to coach against the best here. - check

I'll leave it as an exercise for the reader to match those up against Huggins' comments.

Those statements are from December.

It does seem like a good match, though.

I think the softball media in Manhattan is a good selling point, as well.

I tend to believe the softball media are probably what will ultimately be responsible for Huggins landing in Manhattan the same way TTech being out in the middle of a godforsaken wasteland probably played a big part in their landing Knight.

Big phucking deal.

The guy is 52 years old and pretty set in his ways, I'm sure.  I really doubt he's had any sort of change of heart about what is important to him in regards to what sort of working conditions he's seeking in the past 90 days.
