Am I crazy, or was Michael Irvin way too involved in the whole T.O saga in which the Eagles' season got sabotaged and the Cowboys ended up with the guy?
Irvin got booed off the field by Philly fans when he suffered his career-ending injury there.
Irvin seemed to be constantly fanning the flames of the T.O. vs. Philly feud on TV. In fact, it was Irvin who brought up the Favre vs. McNabb scenario in the T.O. interview that was the final chapter in the mess.
So Owens then gets deactivated and the Eagles season was crushed. In the off-season, they finally outright relase him like everyone knew they would have to. Now Owens gets the big free-agent deal he wanted with Irvin's lifelong team, Dallas, who desparately needed some offensive punch.
I don't have a horse in this race so I'm not outraged. But after seeing how everything played out over the last year, it seems a little off.
