To those of you that complain why we can't play a in Ahearn, and that Bramlage sucks you need to get your crap straight. I was reading the postgame notes following the Nebraska game and ran accross an interesting fact:

Overall home record at Ahearn: 838-322, a winning percentage of .722.
Overall home record at Bramlage: 210-81, a winning percentage of .722!!

What this means is that over time we have played JUST AS WELL in Bramlage as we did in Ahearn. And we have sucked ass for the past ten years. The difference between now and "the before time" is that we played well on the road.  Ahearn had a fewer seats and what many don't know is that Ahearn did not sell out ALL the time. People build up Ahearn to be this magial basketball palace. Sure it may have been at times but it is time to get the &@#% over it and start filling Bramalge!!  Once we get the Jayhawk off our backs I feel people will start liking Bramlage more.  Bramlage has atmosphere and it can get loud when there aren't a bunch of jackass ku fans there. I think we all saw that on Saturday.

I am a huge fan of the signs during the starting line ups and the bring on the cats, but lets also start making Bramlage the arena it could be (Huggieville) and stop trying to compare it to Ahearn every chance we get!

    The very best.
We were 374-87 in Ahearn (.811)
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Imagine the atmosphere if we stuck about 200 students standing behind both goals.  You see it at many other schools, and I tend to think it would look much better on T.V.  Plus this will distract the opposing teams shooters during freethrows. The big ass tunnel on the south side isn't too intimadating.

Bramlage can be just as intimidating as anywhere if your asses show up.

That'd be easier to do if there wasn't a tarp-covered tunnel at one end.

Many people are not aware of this, but that tarp tunnel cover came with Bramlage when it was built.  It is much like a mattress tag in that it cannot ever be removed or else legal action can be taken by state or federal authorities.

I don't want to sit behind the goals. I like the student section where it is.

i dont think it'd look better to have the students behind the goals. on TV youd see the blue hairs sitting and picking their asses.

also, a player will miss and make freethrows based on skill. ive never heard a player say...man, we really had them...i should have made my throws, but the wavey arm thingy the students do, really F's me up.
