2-star solid with committment!!!!11

Following football recruiting is depressing.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

If our class looks like this at this time next year I will be concerned.  They've barely had 1 year to recruit kids give them a break.  If you took away all the 2 stars, many of which are local kids (which prince wants to get) this would be a very solid class.  It looks bad cause there are soooooo many 2's.  Next year I'm really expecting to see some studs, Dline, runningback, maybe another qb, Juco lb.

We shouldn't have very many schols open next year.

What was Ryan Lilja's star ranking coming into KSU?/  How about  Darren Howard or Mark Simoneau (sp??)??

Again, I'd just like to know when KSU recruited 4 and 5* kids across the board, it must have been in some parallel dimension.

This looks very much like a snyder class except for it's sooo big, except for the Daniel Davis, Nick Patton 4-5 star kids.

Let me know when you kill yourself, so I can warn the crowds about a homicide bomber.

Thanks.

"There were just four of us. Clyde Aufner from Ray-Pec, me, a guy from Miami (Darran Kinsey and another from Chicago Chris Patterson. Clyde and I were already committed before we came. I think the guy from Miami gave a verbal commitment while he was there and I know the guy from Chicago was enjoying things too. I don't know of he committed or not."

One thing I've noticed about Rivals is that they don't seem to measure a player's attitude / aggressiveness on the field.  Back in 2004, I remeber watching Ryan Torain from Shawnee Mission NW play on Metro Sports a couple of times during the year.  He would run over people and by people as a RB -- he was a big, aggressive runner in HS.  However, he was overshadowed on his team by Mike Rivera -- long-haired MLB at the Flaw on the Kaw now.  Torain was barely in the Rivals database in '04 and was a 2-star player.  I just had a feeling back then that he'd make a good DI RB.  Well, after going to Butler CC, he ran for almost 1300 yards / 5.5 YPC for Arizona State as a true junior this year.

Of course, they gave Matt Boss four stars because he ran fast at an OU football camp.  But, if you ever saw his HS tape, he was a titty-tapper blocker, and not even a good one at that.

The couple times I saw Mack play this year, he was a very aggressive player with a pretty good motor.  He has soft hands and liked to get after it on defense.  Bottom line is that I think Rivals is being lazy with this guy just like they were with Ryan Torain a couple years ago.  Both players don't have the flashiest of HS stats, but you can tell they have a nose for football if you'd seen them play.

I saw the same with Gary Chandler.  Especially on a run or return, when he lowered his shoulder into a friend of mine and sent his helmet flying.

That was the most schizophrenic post I've ever read.
