You can't be racist and like basketball.
Who would have said this last year?

Quote
“As you look across our roster, we don’t have a lot of guys that look like David Hoskins and Cartier Martin,” McDermott said of two Wildcats who used physical advantages while combining for 39 points. “You can prepare for what they’re going to do, but can you prepare for how strong and physical they are?”

Awesome! Greenawalt definately gets props.  I was watching a clip from last year and Hoskins has put on a good 15-20 more pounds of muscle; he is huge this year.

Maybe McDermott meant in a physical kind of way.  :ku:

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

Dave is going to be Corey Bount-esque (with better shooting) after another off season muscle building campaign.

No kidding.  Those ISU players looked like middle-schoolers up against our guys.

Yeah, its a good thing Huggins has had Greenawalt and his S&C program in so much longer to get a head start on McDermott.

Hey Greg, welcome to the Big 12.

Huggins needed to give the studenta a boot camp just like he did the players. Here's how students at a winning program act!!!!!  :dancin:

"I thought this was the most physical team that we've played all year," Chicago State coach Kevin Jones said. "We've played a lot of teams, but no one was aggressive in every area like Kansas State, and it just wore us down early."

I don't thingk Wyatt and Co. are going to ask any more "The team looked tired out there": type questions as they did after the TT loss.

Looking waaay ahead, I'lll bet Bennett and Colon are going to be difficult to remove from the paint next season.

The Longhorns face Kansas State on Saturday at the Erwin Center before playing at Texas A&M on Monday. Both teams play rugged defense.

Asked about that, Barnes had one of those "Are you listening, refs?" moments that coaches have.

"I'm sure they're gonna try to beat (Durant) up," Barnes said "Both teams play very physical. I guess what you hope is that the game is officiated the way it should be officiated."

What a puss.  Is he really whining about the officials BEFORE the game is even played?

Definitely a tangent, but LOL @ Tom whining about Vitale talking about Duke during the ku-aTm game three days early.  I'd link it, but that new board format just makes it painful to visit.

We hope so too, Barnes.  However, we might have a slightly different idea of just how that is.
