Everyone,

I've recently developed a website to publish the results of my computer rankings system online.  Being an avid kstate fan I wish I could us a little higher, but I'll settle for just in the tournament at #64.  Anyway, if you like the site give me some feedback, if you dont give me that feedback as well.  Just make sure you check out the teams link as the rest of the site is still in developmental phases.

What variables do you use that differ from RPI?  Or can you say?  How can 11-8 Wichita State still be ranked that high?  The RPI is giving the Mo-Val WAY too much cred.  I hope it works itself out before it's too late.  Texas losing to 'Nova probably didn't help much yesterday.

Rankings are developed on a credibility weighted scale.  I do analysis on all of the games, and to get full credit for beating a team, you must be above at least the average margin of victory.  If you are one standard deviation below a lesser percentage, etc.  Similarly road wins get more weight.  Based on my rankings and of the current season of games, I would have predicted over 77% of my games correctly.  I've also implemented a section called 'tournament profiles' it is basically a two team comparison, where by you can get any head to head matchups, etc.  Plus it offers the added feature of neutral court score predictor. Check it out, it'll be important to watch as we get closer and closer to March Madness, hopefully the cats can find themselves well inside of the bubble.

Your site functions well and is easy to navigate.  I wish I could better understand your recipe (what formulas you're using) but by no means expect you to reveal them.  The proof is in your success rate over time.  Guess you could say the same thing for the Cats this year. :ksu:

That is a cool site.  I can't watch all the games I'd like to and it's nice to have something like this.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

Just wanted to let everyone know, that I apoligize for the issues that have been happening on the site over the last two days.  I finally have the website programmed such taht it will automatically update my rankings every 15 minutes, this should allow me to keep the rankings up to date much easier on an everyday basis.  Once again feel free to check out the site and if you have comments please drop me a line.

You aren't even top 5 in the USA Today or the AP Polls. Now come clean, who does this sock belong to?
