anyone taken it? how much annoying work does it involve?
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

I took it last semester. You have to write 5-6 essays, there is a lot of pre-writing bullcrap, and you have to be in everyclass. It sucks but it is easy to get an A in.

    IT'S DIVISION ONE FOOTBALL!!!
I got an A with moderate effort. Really depends on who teaches it. Since I hate writing papers, I considered all of the work to be annoying.

I had a fat lesbian teach it to me back in the mid-90's.  I dropped it after the second week.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

Thanks for the replies. Most everyone on campus has to take it.

Was it very similar to expos 1?

Yes.

Pretty much exactly the same. The only difference is the type of papers you have to write.

FWIW I always had heard it was tough and took it at juco, which was incredibly easy.

Most of my friends got C's, B's.

Fatty, if you don't get an A in Expos II, I will hunt you down and kill you. Easiest f*cking class in the world. Easier than Expos I.

What was her name, I took it spring of '03 I think...

Was she rediculously skinny with short brown hair...   I nailed her; Something about her current relationship being with a dud that didn't know how to please a woman if he was given lube, a flashlight, and a map.    :fiesta:

Nope. Although feminazi in that class doesn't exactly narrow it down I guess.

Time out... take it from Barton online... it lasts 8 weeks, you write 6 papers and then you're done.  It transfers in with no problems and we have students who use this method to "get past" Comp I and II all the time.  $125/credit hour through http://www.bartonline.org and you don't need to buy a book.  To take it at K-State is rolling the dice and a waste of time.

First of all, judging by the average writing quality of my classmates, Expos is anything but a waste of time.

Secondly, how is taking it at K-State "rolling the dice"? You think the potential for a "hard" instructor exists? Please. The class is ridiculously pud no matter who teaches it. Considering how important writing skills are, it should be much harder.

Waste of time because every instructor of Comp at K-State that I've worked with is a grad student that doesn't know how to teach.  Oh hell... who am I kidding, most of the teachers at this University do a great job of presenting the content area they simply don't know how to teach it.  Truly disappointing...

There are very few people these days who are able to write properly.  I'm shocked by the number of lawyers I've encountered in my brief career so far who have trouble.

That's probably the most common mistake I encountered when I was forced to read other students' papers.

I swear, if people would just read their papers out loud once, they would catch at least half the grammatical mistakes they made.

The fact that I speak just like William Shatner does nothing but fuel my comma problem.
