Does anybody know where we can get some quality sports radio programming in this city or who I have to talk to to get this done?

I listen to 610 sports overnight w/ JT The Brick
97.3 has 24/7 national sports programming now

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

I tried both 610 and 810 in the last hour. One has Jim Rome and the other has Soren Petro.....Yeah.....That's not good.

Maybe I could start my own station for K-State fans. Whose with me?????

 :woohoo:

Jim Rome is always great, and I think Petro had a Huggin interview.

    The very best.
Yeah, apparently Huggs was on with Petro.

You'd think someone would listen.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

OK.  Here's the summary:

-- If you've listened to postgame the last couple of games, you heard the interview.  Petro didn't ask him any new/penetrating questions.  Pretty bland, usual stuff.

-- When will Walker be back?  "Start of next season."  Any chance that will change?  "No."

-- How does Walker being out affect your guys?  *See previous 100 times Huggs has answered this.

-- You've said that the scoreboard is all that matters, but are you guys getting better?   "Yes, but now we're playing better competition."  Isn't that good?  "If you're score 12% on your first test, and a 36% on your second, you're three times better, but you're still failing."  Are you getting better at an appropriate pace?  "Cartier was 3-13 the other night.  Lance was 0-2.  Askeem was 3-12.  Stew didn't hit any shots.  You've got to start making shots."

-- Any worry Walker will go league?  "No.  He's said he'll be here with Beasley and the rest of the guys.  That's all media talk."  Media has to sell papers and get ratings.  "I have to win.  You guys don't care about that...I don't care about ratings."  Actually at 810 we care about you winning, because that helps our ratings.  "Isn't the free enterprise system great?"

Petro also said recently that he'd rather be a trashman than be in Huggy's position.

He'd probably make a good trash man. Everybody has to be good at something.

There must be a better dental plan being a trashman. Totally understandable.
