Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

Justin/Jerry: Bill Walker Reply

What are your feelings on what he'll do after this season? Enter draft or return to K-State? I'm sure with this injury, he'll never be the same athlete. He had surgery on his other knee, and you could tell he wasn't as explosive as he was in high school. I hope the kid recovers!

Based on what Billy was telling people even before the injury, he wanted to return for next year to play while in good basketball shape and also to play with Mike Beasley. I would doubt that has changed because of the injury, but anything is possible.

Billy wasn't quite as explosive this year because he wasn't in basketball shape yet. I think he probably would have gotten it back by the end of the year.

he told a good friend of mine he is going pro if he is rehabbed by then and that he would go pro but if he is not rehabbed fully he will come back and play with Mike Beasley and all the other high school players he played with on the aau circuit he said its a win/win situation. Theretically I prdict him to be back because he relies heavily on his athleticism and without that he will have to develop another part of his game which he is doing.

I can see a number of situations.

1. Enter the draft, don't hire an agent, test the proverbial waters and then go from there.
2. Go to the draft and don't look back.
3. Annouce he's coming back to play for Huggins and alongside Michael Beasley.

1 & 3 make the most sense. KSU will be a very good team next year with the players coming in and the guys returning. They could make a good run, thus improving Walker's profile and stock.

Additionally, Walker will be a workout warrior. He'll grade out nicely in the individual tests and could really make a splash in the key month prior to the draft.

He wont go draft.

For the draft he would have to
1) Challenge the NBA rule
2) Win the Challenge
3) Be willing to go in the second round
4) Take a paycut due to a teams fear of risk/worse draft pick

With a good year next year at KSU he will make enough by getting a bigger contract as a higher draft pick to make up for another year of college.  Didn't he even say he was coming back in an article posted on this board somewhere?

those have me lolling.

i think ksufan should invite bp over here.  he has the most cred of any of us on gp.  and surely once he saw how nontardlike we are here in comparison to there he would stay.

Everyone ignores BP (and FAN) on gp.  Not football-y or reactionary enough.

It'd be sweet if we got him here.

I concur.

BP and FAN should team up and create a KSU sports blog. BP could bring the inside info/scouting analysis and FAN could break it down into his eloquent posting style.

If "eloquent style" means "full of typos and grammatical errors", you got your man. :)

As far as getting him here, I'll see if I can figure out a way.

    The very best.
Was "holy shít" necessary here?
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.
