Bennett, Jason Take
Colon, Luis Take
Hoskins, David Take
Kent, Darren Leave
Stewart, Clent Take
Walker, Billy Take
Yearby, Deilvez Leave
Young, Blake Take

I'd only get rid of two of these guys.  I wouldn't want any seniors back if it were possible.

I think Huggins likes Kent.

I have yet to figure out why.  He's like a skinnier, weaker, less athletic version of Shawn Rhodes, which I didn't think was possible.

Its apparent he must work awefully hard b/c coaches can throw a guy like that in when their better players are struggling and not get hurt.  Granted, Kent doesn't do a ton to help, though I thought his defense and hustle last night were pretty good.  Whether that is enough for him to stay I don't know, but I think he fits well with Huggins in that role.

I was thinking Kent could shoot the ball. Hes just not strong or physical enought to play in the post. Im thinking Wool recruited him thinking he could be a Steve Novak type player diamond in the rough.

He was.  Huggins has seemed to try to play him in the post more, but he's not strong enough.  I think Huggins appreciates the fact that he's a 6-10 guy that can actually catch, pivot, and pass on a consistent basis and move his feet a little bit on defense.  He's not much of a threat outside that right now, but he can at least give you that much on a consistent basis for a few minutes per game.

Kent was open quite a bit, and was battleing more in the post than Colon.  They should try to get him some shots, I know he hasn't shot well this season, but in his super limited play last year was he 100%?

Huggins realizes that Kent doesn't hurt our team when he's on the floor.  He generally plays decent defense, understands spacing on the offensive end, and generally doesn't pass the ball directly to the opposing team like everyone else on our roster.  With Kent, I think it's more of a "What he doesn't do" than a "What he does" equation.

I suppose you could classify letting the ball slip through his hands when he tries to get a rebound or recieve a pass, not hurting out team, since it seems like usually a k-state player picks up the ball after his screw up.
