The NFL's Model of Mediocrity slums its way into a first round loss . . . thus making it what??  16 years since the Chefs last won a playoff game??

You pretty much have to suck, and suck badly to accomplish as little in the NFL over the last 35 years as the Chefs have.

The Chiefs this year: The ultimate definition of "backing into the playoffs"
But SO WHAT!, they're in! The way LJ is playing, they got a shot against the Indy "D".

How can you say all that and still be a K-State fan?  Hell, the Chiefs have done more than KSU football yet you still support them.

No tap out at all, just marveling at you thinking that I place the same level of fandom towards the KC Chefs as I do K-State.

I wouldn't think that, and I don't place the same level of importance on them either, but just because they haven't done crap in ages certainly is not the reason.

However I think they have a pretty good shot to win @ Indy.

    The very best.
Saul pays $1,000 for chiefs tickets.

Friggin LOL.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Okay, the Chefs are awesome, a great organization that only cares about winning championships and drafts with the very best in the NFL.

Indys run defense is awful.

Have you seen what Peyton Manning does to the Chiefs defense?

Hell, they let a scrub from Cleveland beat them, and damn near the 3rd stringer from Jax...

if they win this, I will be convinced of lamar making a deal with the devil.

Doesn't really matter, if we win, whoever we face will destroy us (Baltimore or San Diego).

    Overkill. It works.
Man, I don't know what to make of this matchup yet.  The KC secondary is going to get LIT UP.  On the other hand, the Colts' run D is probably going to get torched for 200 yards too.  If it comes down to passing against rushing, the Colts win.  However, KC has Gonzo & Kennison just had a huge game.  I guess we'll see next weekend.

I didn't expect KC to get in..

Now that they are.. expect them to beat the Colts.   KC destroyed Jacksonville, and Jacksonville ran all over the Colts a couple weeks back.

Jason Dunn was put on IR (herniated disk which he's been playing with for awhile).  He is huge to the running game.  Carl didn't think the Chiefs would make the playoffs either.

The Chefs . . . The NFL's Model of Mediocrity for 35 years.

The Chiefs are alot like ku basketball. Win alot of games in the regular season and choke when it counts.  95 and 97 come to mind.

    This ZERO is my Hero
Its payback for Indy this year!! This year, we go into their home and beat them.  We're gonna break those colts!!

I would love to send Manning and CO. packing again and watch them have to explain another choke job.

Herms got the playoff experience to get this done, he went into San Diego a couple years back and won, then lost a close one to Pittsburgh in this horrible city.

ITS LJ TIME!!!
