We all know there's been a conspiracy. Only the failures have been recorded.

KSU Baseball:

Phase one: Go 12-1 vs rummies

Phase two: Split with Wichita State, this confirming we are legit this year

Phase three: Take one out of three in big 12 opener. Two losses very close

Phase four: Lose 15 straight big 12 games

Phase five: Win 4 of the last 6 big 12 games to finish in 9th place. Out of 10 teams.

We actually have a tough(er) non-con this year.  We will probably lose alot of games.

I'm sure most of you guys don't know this.. you're all too busy trying to impress us with your internet muscles and athleticism..

Stan Weber does a lot of color and play by play calls and not just for KSU.  He does them for sporting events across the country all the time.  He's actually wanted by many markets because he's very thorough (putting it lightly) in his understanding and analysis.

Stan has incredible knowledge, but he takes forever to get to the point.   That's his only flaw.  The only thing I'd ever pay money to hear would be a broadcast with Jim Rose and Stan Weber.

I'd record that and make CD's of it.  I'd make millions.

One takes forever to get to the point and the other doesn't have a clue . . . a combo for the ages.

From a football point of view Weber is the one of the best color guys around.  He's got a ton of knowledge and he watches a lot of film something other guys don't do enough of.  He also has a real instinct for the game of football at times he sees things almost before they happen.  Listen to a broadcast sometimes when there is a penalty Weber can tell you what it is and who it's on before the ref announces it.  He's also very good at picking out formations and what not.  All that said he does have a tendancy to talk to much which I think hurts him.  Also he's not nearly as knowlegable about basketball and he's kind of a fish out of water doing bball.  It would be like ku having Chris Piper do color for the football games.  We need to find an ex bball player or coach that can do color for the basketball games and let Weber stick to football.
