Sorry if this has already been posted. Nubb fans won't even spend $12 to see their team.

At StubHub, the average price for a Cotton Bowl ticket is $90, with $406 the highest paid so far. Pate said he expects the average to fall as the game nears.

The average price is 19th among the 32 bowls and ranks behind games such as the Texas Bowl ($100), Gaylord Hotels Music City Bowl ($116), Emerald Bowl ($125) and Alamo Bowl ($138).

Priceless.

"If [the University of Texas] were playing in the Cotton Bowl against an interesting opponent, maybe that would shake things up. As it is, this game isn't that big a deal."

All I can say is  :flush: Nubb !

They've been reduced to celebrating victories over KSU when we are down.

Sad for them.. really.

Actually ROD, they've been 'reduced' to winning the Big 12 North title, something KSU didn't quite do this year.

And leaving lewd messages on your answering machine, allegedly.

Just for the record...

From my vantage point, the Nebraska side of the Cotton Bowl was sold-out.  In addition, quite a few Nebraska fans had tickets on the Auburn side.

It would appear as though these early reports of "poor turn-out" were largely overstated (if not completely false)...

so by early report you mean only a week before the game... huh. Last I checked, people usually get their tickets before Christmas for bowl games.

My apologies.

Let me try again: It would appear as though these reports which emerged a week before the game were largely overstated (if not completely false).

Here's the point: Nebraska fans showed up at the Cotton Bowl.  The discussion ends there.

To be fair, I'm sure those "cheap fans" spent some money on plane tickets (or gas, if you prefer) and hotel rooms...

I'm not asking for you to applaud the efforts of Nebraska fans (I'm sure many bowls and teams experienced better crowds), but let's not change the standards here simply because it's Nebraska...

A friend I have that works or UNL told me they purchased 1200 tickets and NU t-shirts and donated them to the Dallas Association of Retarded Citizens.

Really?  I couldn't tell the difference between them and the "real" NU Fans.

Great, now you've offended every retard in the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex!  Least you could have called them OU fans, I think that is much less offensive.
