Q is out for the Texas bowl.

He's pretty much the only lineman that has been able to stop the run this entire season.

No biggie.  It's just the Texas Bowl.  No one cares about it, really.

Fantastic.  Our run defense was already worthless.

There is a clause hidden in there that explains that we can place a lien on your property if you violate the profanity rule.

    shame on you, non-believers
We weren't going to stop the run anyway. We need to completely take away their passing game, though, to make them 1D.

That's our only hope.

I disagree.  1D teams can still be fine.  Texas Tech comes to mind.  Same with mid 90's Nebraska.  We need to stop or at least slow down their major offensive weapon, which is the run game.

Besides, not a whole lot of teams would be succesful against our fully healthy secondary.  They're pretty effing good.  Much better than I expected.  It's our front 7 I'm worried about.

Good points. I just think our chances are better if we stick to what we know we can succeed in, and completely dominate those areas. If we expend all our energy in stopping their run, and we fail, we're totally screwed. If they run on us, but we succeed in other areas, we've still got a shot.

It'll hurt, but I maintain that our best hope at a win will be because we force them to throw due to time constraints.  Come out swinging, punch them in the mouth, and keep their D on the field.  If we can get up on them by a couple of posessions, They'll be running the ball 0-2 times out of every 4 downs as oppose to running 2-3 times every 4 downs.

This win may be on the shoulders of our running game.

Hey, if we can somehow jump out to a lead (not gonna happen) I'll be ecstatic.

    The very best.
A healthy Marcus Watts more than cancels out Q being out. Seriously, go back and watch some of the early games when our D was still healthy. Watts is a beast.

That being said, I'm not sure how healthy he really is.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Yeah, Prince's comment worries me. If Snyder would have made that comment, I would have assumed Watts was about 120% in reality, but not coming from Prince.
