    The very best.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

You can't be racist and like basketball.
I'm still amazed UNC was able to hire Butch Davis.

Blake is responsible for most of the better talent that NU has gotten the past couple of years.  Anyone on their commit list that we want? Most of them are probably in play again.

UNC has plenty of money, a decent football tradition and excellent facilities.  North Carolina also has pretty decent high school football and you're right in the middle of some of the best recruiting in the country in Virginia and Maryland.

Plus Chapel Hill or Lincoln??  Manure Fires . . . or one of the best small cities in the United States??

I can't wait to hear Huskers say how they won't miss a beat without their best recruiter and probably the top 5-10 recruiter in the country.

We won't miss a beat. Blake's a good guy, and has done a good job, but Callahan has a lot of connections, and we'll just grab someone else who's a good recruiter and plug him in.

:flush: K-State and their pathetic fans!!!

Mod - you forgot to include something about being a Creighton student and having a fat wife.

"We'll just grab someone else who's a good recruiter and plug him in."

Great news, glad it finally happened.

Will mean a couple more players a year will choose us over Nebraska.

Yeah, the handle is one given to me by the mods, who decided to change it. No worries, I think it's funny. After flailing around and getting owned by me over the past couple of weeks, they resport to childish games....typical. I'll take it as a compliment.  :)

Blake's a good guy, but we have a great staff, with tons of connections. They'll find a good replacement for Blake. Plus as anyone who'sfollowed Blake's career knows, he doesn't stick around ling at any of his jobs. I'd prefer someone who will personally.

In any event,  :flush: Kansas Light!!!

No, they probably won't.

Huge loss for NU.

You're all a bunch of morons.

Buddy Wyatt from Alabama is on campus now to discuss replacing Blake. He's supposedly an even better position coach than Blake, and has extensive experience in recruiting the southeast.

Yeah, lucky us...it's good to be Champions.  :D

Oh, and your little sig line on your profile probably needs to be changed, since Nebraska isn't first or second....in fact, seventh or eighth would be more accurate.

:flush: The second best team from Kansas, and seventh best in a 12 team conference!!!

for the NATIONAL POWERHOUSE NEBRASKA CONHUSKERS the Big 12 North Division is kinda shooting a bit low isn't it? After all I thought that NU was all about Restoring the Order of winning, and going to BCS bowls and National Championships. What ever happend to that?

One step at a time....we'll win the Big 12 next year and have a shot at National Championship. In the meantime, if you chodes make any progress, you might break through and be the sixth best team in the conference.....that's real progress, then you might get a bid to the Independence Bowl or something....which unlike the Texas Bowl, is at least televised.

what was cally's first year with a 9-3 team comming in again? and what was his improvement from year 1 to year 2? do you think Prince won't improve as much because he got 7-5 out of a team that went 5-6 the previous year?
