    warm up the EMAW
You'd think with all the talk around here that we had a bunch of Division I coaches on this board.  Maybe we should re-name this board "The Self-Appointed Recruiting Expert Kansas State Message Board.  By Self-Appointed Recruiting Experts, For Seditious, Traitor Self-Appointed Recruiting Fools"

Shouldn't we be focusing on the bowl game?  Or the tremendous transitional season that world-renowned head Men's Basketball coach has us in?  How about the accompishments of our Lady Cats?  I guess all these are unimportant to the so-called Recruiting experts!  How easily you toss about the hopes and dreams of these 18 and 19 year old CHILDREN!

"He's a one-star!  He sucks!  We don't want him!  He has academic issues!  Why are we recruiting so many Kansans??!"

These statements make me sick.  Shame!  These kids are just finishing up high school, passing through one of the great post-puberty rites of passage in our society and all you can say are these snide remarks!

And by God, if Mr. Prince asked me (which is the only way he'd find out my opinion because I am not so presumptious as to question our leader who has worked his entire life for this one job and is uber-qualified for the post) I'd say recruti more Kansas boys!  In my opinion you would find the kind of upstanding, God-fearing, salt-of-the-Earth, respectable young men that are well-suited to building a Big XII football team around!

Recruiting services have been proven to be dubious in their offerings at best.  The recruiting guru wannabes parading around this board would be well served to explain the names below.  They include some of the finest Wildcats to ever wear the uniform.  NONE of which was a 5-star monster signing (like Daniel Davis and the like).

Terence Newman
Darren Sproles
Blake Seiler
Mitch Running
David Allen
Jon McGraw
Jonathan Beasley
Brian Kavanaugh
Mark Simineau
Jarrod Cooper

when we start having spring games and practices (high school),  and have the selection Texas Schools do in the state of Texas, then we can recruit Kansas like Texas

So, OX are you saying that Kansas farm boys aren't man enough to play football for Kansas State?

You saying a Kansas boy couldn't whoop a Texas boy 8 days out of the week and twice on Sunday?

I smell a rat Mods!  Let's ban this Texas Red Raider right here and now!

i from ML dude, i've been up at OU and Fort Hays (couldn't make it to KSU this year) and FYI i think its BS that Texas Schools get spring practices and we dont. We'd have more talent developed with it (we have as much talent as a Kansas Size area of Texas, ours is more raw however)

Figures.

My pappy always said there were only two things that come from Texas.

Since I'm among company, I won't finish the lesson but I reckon a few of you have heard how the rest goes.

Agreed. For those of you who don't agree...think about our current Big 12 AllStar... Ian Campbell.

LOL @ Kavanaugh being referenced.

The dude's body was shaped like a pear.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

We are quite adept at breaking down game film and assessing raw talent, thank you very much.  And when that fails, we receive great enjoyment from the activity of identifying and touting the players that, for what might as well be completely arbitrary reasons, give us warm and fuzzy feelings inside.

Rockhurst played down in Texas last year and got their asses handed to them. I'd bet Blue Springs South (not kansas but close enough) could take a Texas team this year.
