I think what is really holding back his rating/ranking is what position he will play.

For us he will play receiver, but that might not have been the case if he went elsewhere, so the Athlete tag has held him back from being considered elite at any paticular position.

But video might also have something to do with it.

Raving about very average recruting is Woolite-esque.  Seriously.  I actually like Prince's approach to recruting, but it's not like we have a bunch of stud recruits coming in.  Pretending otherwise is lame.

Staff hasn't been on the Job a year yet.  Give them a break.  It's a very solid class, not great but not bad either.  The only thing that is missing is a DT and a QB.

I think Lamark was on a crapty HS team which might have had something to do with it.

It's about Lamark Brown's status.

and from what I've seen Lamark Brown is a stud athlete that any Big 12 school would like to have in their class this year.

the point is, lamark brown has such good measurables, he is in the rivals250 without a video.  for every rivals100 player i clicked on, i noticed several videos each.  if rivals could further evaluate brown, could he get into the top 100?  imo he's 4 stars based on looks alone  . when you think of what a football player should look like, lamark brown comes to mind.
